The Northeast Kingdom of Vermont didn’t end up getting anywhere near the 12-16 inches of snow that was forecast to fall on the region. Here in Island Pond we received about 4″. Hopefully it will help the groomer operators freshen up the snowmobile trails for all of the sledders that are around for the holiday weekend.

Today was another day of snow showers here in the Northeast Kingdom of VT. The temperature hovered around 20°F most of the day in Island Pond. The NW winds made it feel even colder.

Light snow started to fall around 8AM and continued most of the day. When it was all over we ended up with about 3″ of new snow here in Island Pond. Here’s a short video shot yesterday during the storm.
