Here’s a short aerial video taken with a drone on Saturday. The video starts out on Spectacle Pond and then moves over Island Pond. There were lots of people out enjoying a beautiful day in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont.

Summer Heat
Some areas of Vermont as well as the rest of the northeast have been very warm this summer. We have had some warm spells here in the Northeast Kingdom, too. Here in Island Pond my weather station has recorded a high temperature of 86.5°F back on July 13th.

With the days getting shorter, we should start to see much cooler mornings. That will soon transition in to my favorite time of year, FALL.
